In the original written version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane is an unfortunate looking school teacher in the town of Sleepy Hollow. He is a fantastic singer and fights for the love of Katrina Van Tassel. In this version Ichabod is rather interested in the fantastic and believes in witchcraft. In Tim Burton's film adaptation Ichabod Crane is a detective from New York City. He believes in purely scientific causes for crimes and that witchcraft is just used as an excuse for good detective work. Although these two Ichabod's are fairly different they both play a wonderful protagonist and a relatable character.

After further consideration I have decided to write more about why digital production of literature and the slow phasing out of printed works is the way our society should head. Many people say, including Hannah, that they love the tough and feel of a book and I think that is because it is something we did as a child. If everyone grows up on an e-reader then that is what they will long to curl up in bed with. We are a people of progress and change, and the way we currently access novels has been the same for centuries. It is time for us to move on. Digital readers are cost efficient, eco-friendly, lightweight, and the future. The world is constantly evolving and finally the way we can read has caught up.
